  • 1966

    • Handled elevator business as a division under Ryoden Electric Engineering Co., Ltd, the predecessor of Mitsubishi Electric Hong Kong Group Ltd.

  • 1994

    • Successfully secured the ISO9001:1994 certificate
    • Supplied and installed 4 spiral escalators in Times Square which became the first spiral escalator installation project in Hong Kong

  • 1995

    • Secured the contract to supply and install 91 units of elevator for the Hong Kong International Airport's Passenger Terminal Building

  • 1998

    • Guangdong Ryoden Lift and Escalator Company Limited established (now it is a wholly-owned company of Mitsubishi Elevator Hong Kong Company Limited)

  • 1999

    • Applied innovative technology of permanent magnetic motor to install Mitsubishi's passenger lifts with a maximum speed 9 meters per second in Cheung Kong Center
    • Completed elevator systems for Guangzhou MTR stations
    • Supplied and installed elevators in one of skyscrapers in China - the Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai

  • 2000

    • Guangdong Ryoden Lift and Escalator Company Limited Certified with ISO9001:1994 Standard

  • 2001

    • Guangdong Ryoden Lift and Escalator Company Limited Certified with ISO14001 Standard
    • Secured our first high speed modernization project in Hong Kong - New World Tower I

  • 2003

    • Guangdong Ryoden Lift and Escalator Company Limited Certified with OHSMS Standard

  • 2007

    • Completed the installation of two unique spiral escalators for the Venetian Hotel (the first spiral escalator installation project in Macau)

  • 2009

    • Successfully secured the ISO 14001:2004 certification
    • The effectiveness of lift operation in Kerry Center is maximized by adoption of our then latest SAI-2200 artificial intelligence system with immediate prediction indication (AIL) feature.
    • Completed the Lift Modernization of Gloucester Tower with application of our then latest Destination Oriented Prediction System (DOAS)

  • 2010

    • Applied the Permanent Magnet (PM) traction machine to the lift Modernization in Mei Foo Sun Chuen
    • Successfully secured the OHSAS 18001:2007 certification

  • 2011

    • Secured Sogo Department Store escalator modernization project
    • Introduced regen-power technique to Hong Kong Housing Authority Kai Tak Public Housing Project

  • 2012

    • Mitsubishi double-deck elevators started to operate in Hysan Place

  • 2013

    • Introduced a remote lift maintenance system, “ELE-First”

  • 2014

    • Scaffoldless installation method (Guided Suspended Working Platform) was applied to lift installation in large residential projects.

  • 2015

    • Accumulated sales of over 1,000 units of lift modernization in Hong Kong

  • 2017

    • Accumulated award of modernization for all 398 lifts in Stages I to VIII of Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon

  • 2018

    • Secured high speed modernization in Bank of China Tower, Hong Kong
    • Introduce the Mitsubishi Destination Control System (integrated with Turnstile System) in Manulife Place.

  • 2019

    • Secured new installation contract of 129 units of lifts and escalators at twin office towers at Kai Tak developed by Lifestyle International Holdings Limited (Sogo)
    • Launch M's BRIDGE wireless remote maintenance service in Hong Kong

  • 2020

    • Secured new installation in a Grade A office in Central, The Henderson, with the world first doube-deck lift in corner-post door opening

  • 2023

    • Secured new installation contracts for two Design & Building public housing projects developed by Hong Kong Housing Authority
